Korean Manga: Tiara

Yes, the title is seems really girly, well yes it is very girly, since the manga is a shojo, all about love. Korea is not really well known for mangas. Well, a lot more people, even myself, think of Japan when it comes to manga. Still, I managed to come about this manga. You see, my sister is really addicted to animation and comics. And I don't mind reading some. Some were really crappy, but I found Tiara really humorous.

The main character is this really strong & smart girl who is so000000000 self-centered. If she were to save either herself or the world, she would destroy the world to save herself! Apparently, she is the daughter of this Queen who abandoned her baby in a mansion. So, the main character does not know anything about the outside world.

So basic summary is this
"Prashian is an aristocratic line gifted with 500 years

of life and special powers. Elan are "normal people"

who live 100 years.In this place where these two

"peoples" live together, there is a Litra Palia living

among them without knowing her own name.

Following the orders of servants, she lives off the

Secret Garden

First a bit of personal updates. I came back to this evil school, somewhat scared and nervous. Extremely nervous about computer science courses, as I am not talented with it. Anyways, I had a really relaxing winter break with my family. Sadly, I haven't met up with any friends except for SJ. Oh I had my early birthday cake! yumm. It was strawberry! It was really good since I haven't got a birthday cake after like middle school. Well, we had a lot of things happening so couldn't really help it. Am suffering major jet lag. I am so tired now, but I thought I should do something before going to sleep.

So enough of the useless updates. I have seen Secret Garden the Korean drama. God, I felt like a good Korean, watching drama. It was so addicting, that I was marathoning Secret Garden. The story is based on a love between a rich young man and a poor stunt girl. The rich young man was born rich, having everything and can afford everything. The poor stunt girl, doesn't have anything and neither parents are alive. However, somehow the rich young man is able to love the girl. But, thats not all, the interesting twist is that these two couple drink so kind of magical Korean whisky and they're souls change during the rain. Its quite funny how the couple react to this situation. I can't say more since it would be spoiling the plot & fun.

It was pretty sad. Honestly, I cried a bit. Well, I didn't cry because it was sad, more because it was so beautiful. I don't know why but dramas are so addictive :S

Marry Me Mary!

I am suppose to be programming something this winter, so I would be productive, but i got relaxed! I ended up not programing or being productive and resulted in the life of a proud coach sloth. Yes, being a coach sloth is not really something to be proud of ! Still might as well as be since I don't have other thing to be proud of...

Anyway, like a good Korean, I started watching drama. Well, this drama, it only took me around 15 minutes to get me addicted. So, I ended up wasting my Saturday watching endless stream of drama! Well, on the bright side, now I can make more people addicted to it by introducing it.. (Hopefully everyone else would waste as much time watching drama as I do!)

The drama starts with cute Moon Geun Young! YAY! She act as Wi Mae Ri aka Mary. Mary's mother died and there is this father's rich friend who also was in loved with Mary's mother. As Mary resembles her mother the father's rich friend wants his son to marry Mary. But, to run away from his father and father's friend's plan, Mary lies to them by saying she's already married to a musician. However, as her father and father's friend are persistent, they come up with a contract. They have a 100 days contract, and by the end of the 100 days, Mary has to choose who to marry. This works since Mary and the musician isn't really legally married, actually Mary is legally married to the rich son.

Argh! Dramas are so hard to explain as they're relationships are so complicated. So much easier if you actually watch it. So, go watch Marry Me Mary! Gogogo!

Its really interesting since the characters are really funny, especially Moon Geun Young. 

Oh, just one complain about Korean dramas. Why are their houses so great! lol..... I feel so poor when I watch Korean drama... This freaking musician is quite poor... but his house is freaking nice! I guess its because its a drama but STILL! nobody lives in apartments in dramas ... They all have extravagant houses lol!
